InVesalius: Translating 3D Imaging Reconstruction Software with Transifex
InVesalius is a Medical imaging 3D reconstruction software which aims to assist diagnosis and surgical planning. Based on a sequence of two dimensional (2D) images (DICOM-format), acquired through computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance (MRI) equipments, InVesalius software allows the reconstruction of virtual three dimensional (3D) models, correspondent to the anatomical region of interest.
Transifex […] really helps translators to concentrate on the language translation and not on details of PO files. Were’re currently using Transifex on a 3D medical imaging reconstruction software called InVesalius, sponsored by the Brazilian Government. In less than a week hosted at Transifex website, InVesalius was already translated to French.
Before Transifex, it was a big headache to teach how doctors could help us translating po files.
